For over 35 years, Dr. Louise Stanger has been helping families dealing with addiction, mental health concerns and behavioral concerns. Her company, All About Interventions, focuses on the early stages of the recovery process, when everything seems bleak, dark and difficult. The knowledge she brings to the table and the positivity with which she approaches recovery can be an immense help for families in crisis.
Dr. Stanger is a licensed clinical social worker, a board-registered interventionist II, a national independent interventionist, a certified ARISE interventionist and a certified lifestyle interventionist. She believes in augmenting her education as much as possible, so she can reach out to families with science-based therapies that can really make a difference.
Dr. Stanger has been honored many times for her work. She’s been given a Women Who Mean Business Award by the San Diego Journal, a Peer Educator Award from Mothers Against Drunk Driving, an Outstanding Professional Award from San Diego County and a Model Program Award from the US Department of Education.
In addition to her work with families, Dr. Stanger provides a number of lectures to groups who would like to know more about addiction, and she’s taught classes on counseling and human behavior to students who would like to work in the addiction field.
